The Virginia Outdoor Adventures podcast is an amazing resource for hiking, camping, kayaking, and more. This is a long overdue review of one of my favorite podcast episodes.
There are a lot of reasons to listen to this amazing podcast. The podcast host Jessica Bowser is a genuine and wonderful person who truly loves the outdoors. She’s a former teacher, conservation advocate, and a literal Virginia State Parks Master Hiker! She’s able to bring in amazing guests including whale watchers (yes, here in Virginia), a senator (really!), and Matt Felperin, a Roving Naturalist who’s featured in this episode. Finally, each podcast comes with a professional recap that provides links to everything discussed in the episode.
